The Wait is Over!!!

My oh my! The time has flown by since last we wrote. Actually since the last time that I wrote... Lorayne hasn't actually written a post yet... Except for the first one. Which we wrote together. Anyways. I apologize for my obvious lack in blogging. I realize that our 3 followers have been waiting most impatiently for more excitement and adventure from us. Well folks, the wait is over!!! I have so much to talk about!! Lets start with the month of September.

September:
Blast. I can't remember what happened.. Something exciting I'm sure. How about I just make something up so as not to disappoint? Well, you are not going to believe this!!!!!!!! Okay so it was a Wednesday afternoon, I can't recall which day (probably the 25th), and Lorayne and I were just sitting at home. Me with my knitting, Lorayne with her martial arts. Suddenly a giant squid attacked the house! It ripped the roof off with one of its long slimey tentacles and snatched Lor's brother right out of his chair and ate him! (sorry brother, someone had to die. It's a giant squid for pete's sake!) Well we weren't going to just sit by and let this monster continue in its monstrous doings! So we lept out of our chairs, Loryn delt a swift and hefty karate chop to the left eye, while I using my knitting needles jabbed at the right. The monster screamed a hideous scream and fell back in defeat. But we weren't finished. What happened next may be a little graphic for some of our viewers so I'll just summarize. We won.

October:
Let's see... well we repaired the roof that the squid so rudely demolished. I went on a lovely little deer hunt with my dearest father and we shot ourselves a nice buck. That was freaking amazing. Plus, it all took place in Fillmore!! Yay!! Halloween came, and we... dressed up? I don't recall... Anyways October wasn't nearly as exciting as September so lets move on.

November:
Ah, November. My favorite month of the year. It brings such immense amounts of joy into my life! Birthdays were celebrated, turkeys consumed, tears were shed. It was wonderous. That's all I have to say about that.

December:
Wow look at that, now we are all caught up! School has finally come to a close, and Lorayne has run off to spend her time in the state of New York. Without her dear Stabi. Woe is me... But oh my oh my I have a stoooooorrryyyy!!! Okay so get this. Let me paint a picture for you. It's Friday night, around 7:40. Loryn and I were returning from a most wonderful temple trip. We had to hurry home because we were supposed to be throwing a Christmas party that started at 7. We were a little late. (to our own party? woooooooooow.) So we are driving down main street, minding our own business, chatting lightly. Loryn was at the wheel, and I was in the passenger seat. Little brother was sitting in the back. Suddenly Loryn slams on her brakes!!! I look up from a most interesting text conversation just in time to see my life flash before my eyes.. in the form of a deer!! Yes, there was a deer. In fact there was a whole herd of deer. Running across main street! One of them, who was obviously the leader of the pack, and very intelligent, saw our car coming and thought to herself, "oh look, there is a nice shiny black car. I wonder what it feels like.. I'll just run into it with my face to see if it is soft." BAM. Right into the passenger door, and almost into my lap. Luckily there was a door there so it couldn't actually reach my lap. It ran into our car!!! So apparently this is not as big of a deal as we thought it was. Deer run into to cars all the time people keep telling us. I don't care, they don't run into our cars very often! Show some excitement people!!!!!! PS deer is okay.

And that about brings you all up to date! I shall do my best not to forget the existence of this blog ever again. Byyyyyyyyee!

Bagel Bagel Bagel Bagel Bagel!!!!

Wow I can't believe it is already time for another post in our ridiculously wonderful blog. Man the time has just flown by! You would not believe all of the insane adventures the month of August has graced us with. What's that? You would like me to tell you? Well I will do just that!!

We started the month off right with a super duper awesome amazing cool specatcular best-time-of-our-lives STAR WARS party. Yeah, that's right, a STAR WARS party. It was tots the best. We had the cardboard cut out of Darth Vader, Galactic Pizza, Yoda Soda, Darth Maults, light saber cup cakes, and lets not forget the party favors: Light Sabers. Home made, the best kind. Yeah it rocked. What can I say, we are that cool.

We also went to Fillmore. What? What's in Fillmore? Thats what you were thinking right? Well my friends allow me to share with you an ancient family secret... Fillmore is the best place in the world. Yes. It's true. The Best Place. We went camping while we were there and I must say it was the best camping trip I have ever had. We had all sorts of rowdy fun roasting hot dogs, dancing in the moonlight, adventuring, fishing. SO GREAT. Plus, we were blessed with the opportunity to eat at the best pizza place in the continental US. Deano's Pizza. I suggest that everyone tries it. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Then school started. It's pretty cool, I guess. That's all I have to say about that.

Which brings me to today. Thursday. My dearest Lorayne and I and our devoted brother Chase (actually he is just Loryn's brother... and he really isn't all that devoted to either one of us, but it sounded good) decided it was time for a healthy adventure. This adventure consisted of the following: Costa Vida- enough said, round-about (backwards!!!!), Wal-Mart (STAR WARS poster and fold-able sunglasses!!), piggy back rides (mostly just for Chase), round-about again (backwards!!!!), driving like maniacs, and singing Twist and Shout (come on come on come on baby now!). It was truly miraculous!

Okay this is a long post. I'm done now. I'm gonna go watch Breakfast at Tiffany's. See ya!

I love to ride my bicycle, I love to ride my bike!!

Thank you Queen for making our new theme song. Today provided a fantastic Thursday afternoon for Lorayne and I and our new gang. The Minus the Motor Gang to be exact. Yeah we are pretty legit. We spent the entire afternoon riding our bikes around Cedar City. At one point, we even stopped for snow cones. We have decided that our gang motto is "Ride Fast, Fly High". Our inspiration came from the cemetery believe it or not. It's a long story that I won't bother to tell. But the truly exciting part was when Lorayne and I rode the tandem bike together! Yeah yeah! At first I was riding with my dearest friend Vonae, but I crashed us into a tree. And a puddle. And several curbs. So I was demoted to the back seat. Lorayne and I had a lot more success on the tandem bike though. We all rode to Wal Mart and mastered several beastie hills. It was fantastic! I am going to be super sore tomorrow but whatevs, it was tots the best bre (bike ride ever). Lorayne has to wear a flower in her hair tomorrow. She's not very excited about it. She just said that to me and so I felt the need to share it with all of the blogging world. Anyways back to riding bikes. It is truly fantastic. Everyone should go get a bike. Including myself. I hear the DI has some for only like 7 dollars. Fancy that! So great.

Thursday Miracles. So great.

For as long as I can remember (which is about 2 or 3 years) Thursdays have always been what I like to call 'miraculous'. Yes, thats right, miraculous. Miracles happen on Thursdays. Its my favorite day out of the week. For example, today was a particularly wonderful day. And here is why.
1: I woke up before 8:30 this morning. (okay so it wasn't on my own, I received a wonderful phone call, but still. That's an achievement)
2: Oscar went to the vet today, and had a tooth pulled. Which means, no more stinkyness!!! MIRACLE!
3: My blinds fell on top of me and I survived with minimal injuries.
4: Loryn miraculously overcame her sickness. It only took 4 naps!
5: I had a super great winning streak with Freecell solitaire.
6: We went to a ward party (not our ward) and I freaking rocked at Volleyball. Yeah, thats right, you read me correctly (haha just a little blog lingo) I rocked.
7: Loryn receive some particularly exciting news, but we aren't allowed to mention it specifically in the blog. You never know who might be reading.
8: We found canned pumpkin!!! Even with the pumpkin shortage! Miracle.
9: I discovered my robot voice, thank you CJ.
10: We were able to identify Tom at Walmart by merely hearing his voice.
11: And we discovered an extra box of Raisin Bran Crunch in the pantry. So Fantastic!
And that, my friends, is why Thursdays are a day of miracles.

The Beginning...

Wow, this is a lot of pressure. Our first blog post. Ever. I think I'll start. I'm Lorayne. I live down the hall from Stabi. And we like to party. Hence the blog of our ultimate partying lives.

Hi. I'm Stabi. I live in Lorayne's house. It's pretty fantastic, just so you know. I love to do many things such as hunting El Chupacabra. Also, my favorite color is purple. Wow, now you know just about everything about me.

Onto our adventures. Starting today. We went to Walmart numerous times, which happens quite often. The first time, for groceries, serious business. The second, for a little Thursday night fun. While at Walmart, we had an epiphany. Themed days! By letter. Today was Beezy Thursday. We decided to do only things starting with the letter B. Hence the Beginning of the Blog. We also ate Blackberries and Bran (of the raisin persuasion).

Who knows what the night will hold in store for us? Banjo-ing perhaps? Maybe a little bit of Bobsledding? So. We are off to Buckle down and Bring some Brownies to all the Brilliant Boys in our lives.

Welp. See you later!
